No âmbito da disciplina de Inglês, as turmas de quarto ano da ACR Fornelos participaram na oitava edição do concurso “Conta-me uma História”, da Equipa de Recursos e Tecnologias Educativas da Direção Geral da Educação, com a gravação da história “The Ugly Duckling” de Hans Christian Andersen. O conto foi adaptado, ensaiado e gravado pelos alunos com a ajuda da professora de Inglês, Marta Gonçalves, e com o apoio do professor de música, Ricardo Carvalho. Esta atividade foi uma oportunidade de exposição dos alunos a uma maior variedade de vocabulário em língua inglesa e a um refinamento da pronúncia.

On their English classes, ACR Fornelos’ s fourth grade students participated in the eighth edition of the contest “Tell me a story”, from the Educational Resources and Technologies Team of the General Direction of Education, with the recording of the story “The Ugly Duckling “by Hans Christian Andersen. The story was adapted, rehearsed and recorded by the students with the help of the English teacher, Marta Gonçalves, and with the music teacher’s support, Ricardo Carvalho. This activity was an opportunity to expose students to a greater variety of English vocabulary and to a refinement of accent.
